Sachin Tendulkar : The "Little Master" retires

The Master blaster Indian batsman "SACHIN TENDULKAR" announces his retirement from cricket after playing his 200th Test against West Indies next month in India.

At the age of 40 Legendary batsman and former Indian captain will end up his carrier from cricket, previously he got retired from one-day international cricket in December 2012.

Indian legend is the highest run scorer in ODIs and test cricket with 15,837 runs in 198 Tests and 18,426 runs in 463 ODIs.

  • 1973: 24th April born in Mumbai 
  • 1989: Test debut v/s Pakistan at the age of 16th

  • 1990: 1st Test Century v/s England
  • 1998:  1st double century for Mumbai v/s Australia

  • 2008: Highest run-scorer in Test cricket with mark of 11,953 
  • 2010: Most Capped cricketer in Test history

  • 2012: Scores his 100th international century; retires from ODIs in December
